Hands down, one of the best discotheques of all time is right here in Portland.  Spacious, two dance floors, Friday evening appetizers, easily accessed water for all, and repeated booking of the best DJ’s and bands that the dance music world has to offer. You can easily hop on the #15 bus to get there and not have to worry about driving and they have a ton of bike racks as well. If you do drive, you probably won’t have a problem parking in the area.

Where: 1001 SE Morrison St. Portland, OR 97214

Transportation: Bus line 15-Belmont/NW 23rd or 70-12th/NE 33rd Ave
Parking: Fairly easy to find.
Bike racks: Yes

Coat check: Kind of; unattended, but you can hang your coat. No one has ever taken any of our wraps, or rifled through our pockets.

Seating: There is seating both upstairs next to the bar and surrounding the main dance floor.  It is both comfortable and plentiful, for when you need a break from cutting a rug like a maniac.

Cocktails: They had a special drink in the winter of 2012 that was a champagne cocktail with pear brandy. Yes please!
Quick Note: You may find yourself served drinks by the Legendary Miracle’s Club dancer, Ryan at the bar!

Cover-charge: Proletarian; in the $5-10 range. Often you can buy tickets in advance.

On top of all that you can head across the street to Sassy’s and see awe-inspiring pole dancers. Our favorite is Malice; green mohawk, beautiful tattoos, and she dances to all the old-school punk rock favorites. All the strippers are lovely and some are quite bendy in the back and will do back bends galore every set!
